Local deaf groups in LewishamTranscript of videoThe Lewisham Sign Language Community Group campaign for the deaf community and promote British Sign Language. We liaise with the Council, Police, Health Authority and others to make sure we are properly represented in the delivery of services. We meet monthly and produce a newsletter which lists local events including social, sports and talks. There are also lots of other groups in Lewisham including The Lewisham Sports and Social Club, the over 60s group and Dzone, the youth club for deaf children and young people.
