Transcript of video

Visit our libraries to borrow books, DVDs with subtitles and even PlayStation games. You can make use of a wide range of facilities, including fax, photocopying and free internet use. Some of our Library staff are trained in British Sign Language and can help you with virtually any research such as finding out about local history or compiling a family tree.

We have 12 libraries, a children’s library, archives and local history, mobile library and home library services.

The children’s library service provides books, study materials and activities, homework clubs, craft workshops, quizzes and competitions.

We also have a 24 hour library you can access on computer from home, work or place of study providing 13 specialist resources such as the Times Digital Archive, Credo, an online reference library and an online enquiry service. You can renew your books and search the library catalogue online as well.

You can use the links on this webpage to take you to more information about Libraries.
